Notre Dame de Namur first started out as a small all women college building and thriving into the community with the guidance of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. All these brilliant courageous women have set the bases of learning and catholic based principles we still use today.
Creating hallmarks that all teachers use as a base for teaching in the classrooms at this institution. One key hallmark is giving back. The sister of Notre Dame are always working hard to help those in this work. Notre Dame de Namur University has many resources for those who are interested in volunteering such as Call to Action Day. Everyday there teaching and powerful influence our being set into play and are reflecting in our work. As we go on with our education the knowledge we obtained from this institute will remain with us for the rest of our live. Then one day we are going to have to apply what we have learned to our chosen career path. These teaching we received with be put into play with all the decisions we make or the paths we decide to take.
The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur will always have effected of lives and decisions whether we even realize it. I am very happy to have met and been able to learn from these strong influential group of women.
